We can deliver a set of practical executable plans for simplifying IT infrastructure, helping reduce operating costs while freeing up resources for new business initiatives. We seek better answers than traditional service models, based on our belief that consulting should not need armies of people. We place an emphasis on modular services, so that you can select those service options that best meet your needs.

Managed Services

Hosted Solution

Capital Expenditures

Customer is responsible for server, network and related hardware.  In addition there are usually vendor specific warranty, maintenance and support contracts required.

There are no capital expenditures required for Server, Network and related hardware purchases as these are supplied as part of the monthly service.  In addition we cover the costs of the maintenance and support contracts.

Equipment Facilities

Typically maintained at the customer's facility, incurring costs associated with electrical usage, cooling, security, power conditioning and related facility costs.

Because the equipment is housed in secure, environmentally controlled data center, there are no additional fees for power, cooling, security or other facility costs.

Backup Capabilities

For capacity and backup capabilities, automated tape libraries are the recommended solution.  These can cost several thousand dollars and offer limited life.

A key component of the hosted solution is an enterprise level backup solution that allows us to backup the entire server as an image in addition to our traditional file based backup service.   We also provide transparent intraday backups through Microsoft's Shadow Copy feature.

Performance, Storage and Capacity

Adding additional storage and capacity requires additional purchases and reconfiguring existing hardware.

Resources can be added in near real-time for any server or application that requires them.  Our infrastructure allows storage up to 2 terabytes to be added without even a reboot required.  Additional memory and processors can be added with a single reboot in as little as three minutes.

Redundancy and High Availability

Many Redundancy and High Availability options are available; each adds significant costs and increases network complexity.   In addition, ensuring that these features from different vendors function correctly together is very labor intensive.

The infrastructure has been designed from the ground up for redundancy, fault tolerance and high availability.  With a highly redundant EMC Storage Area Network, Redundant Firewalls, Power Supplies, Fibre Channel Switches and Networks, this provides a much higher level of redundancy than is feasible for a small to medium sized business to purchase and maintain.

Application Support

Implementing and Deploying new applications requires   proper planning, as well as allocating proper hardware.   Testing for compatibility with existing applications and infrastructure can be labor intensive.

With our hosted solution, many popular applications can be deployed within minutes, not days or weeks.  For applications requiring use of large files, or bandwidth heavy applications, we recommend installing local servers to support those specific requirements.

Monitoring, Reporting & Change Management

We are able to provide monitoring across most popular hardware and device platforms.

With our hosted platform, we have spent a significant amount time deploying and fine tuning our reporting tools.  This ensures from Day 1 you can access the data and information that is important to you.
